Creston Elementary School District
Principal Search
The Board of Trustees for the Creston Elementary School District is pleased to announce the following finalist for the position of District Principal.
Rachel Stevens has been a teacher for 19 years, with the last 16 years at the Somers School District as a 5th and 6th grade math teacher and as a math intervention specialist. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Wisconsin -Eau Claire, post graduate coursework in education and a Master’s Degree in Education – Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.
The Board will interview Ms. Stevens on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 6 pm in the gym. Members of the public are welcome to observe the interview and to offer comment to the Board before it makes any decisions.
Itinerary
4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Ms. Stevens meets with school staff – 3rd grade classroom
5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.*
Community Meet and Greet. Come meet Ms. Stevens before the Board interviews – gym
6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.*
Board Interview – gym
Following the interview, the Board will take public comment and then convene in executive session to hear background check information. The Board will reconvene in open session for possible action.
* Parents please note that child/student supervision is not available, please make necessary arrangements ahead of time.
